Rick Ross was on the cover of the May issue of XXL magazine. He is photographed close up, while wearing Louis Vuitton sunglasses. Micheal D. Pantalony, Vuittons attorney, mailed a letter to XXL's editorial staff saying that the glasses are "counterfeit" and that they caused "confusion" to consumers. the letter also said that the company has no association with Rick Ross, or XXL.
The entire letter can be read here:

Beef: Nick Cannon vs. Eminem
Recently a track leaked off of Eminem's new album called "Bagpipes from Baghdad". In this track, Eminem basically pulls an all out assault on Mariah Carey. Nick Cannon was then quoted on saying that there would be "repercussions" for Eminem once it all got settled. He said that Eminem's career had been tainted once he talked about the husband and wife, and that he is not going to let this go easily.
In my opinion, Nick Cannon had every right to defend his wife. Every sensible man in America would have done the same thing. What I am looking forward to is what this whole war of words will turn out to be. I call on Nick Cannon to put out a "Try Me" type diss for Eminem to answer.
That would be interesting, Nick Cannon vs. Eminem sort of like Rick Ross vs. 50 Cent.
